Various symbols are used to protect our customers against the physical danger and service staff and to prevent damage to your property. Do not use a power supply with a voltage other than specified. Avoid multiple connections to an electrical outlet: may cause fire or electric shock. When using an extension cord, make sure that it is suitable for the rated current. Connect the ground wire to a suitable earthing point. Failure to ground the copier may cause a fire or an electric shock. The connection of the ground wire to an object that is not approved for that purpose may cause an explosion or an electric shock. Never connect the ground wire to either of the following: gas pipes, lightning rods, ground wires for telephone lines and water pipes or faucets not approved by the competent authorities.
Do not place on a diseased surface or angle copier: Copier can tip over and cause injury. Do not install the copier in a humid or dusty place. This may cause a fire or an electric shock. Do not install the copier near a radiator, heater, another source of heat or flammable materials. This may cause the fire. Leave sufficient space around the copier to allow air vents keep the machine as fresh as possible. Insufficient ventilation may cause heat buildup and copied bass performance.
Always operate the machine in the correct locations to move it. Always use devices non-slip and lock in the photocopiers so equipped. Otherwise, the copier will move unexpectedly or will collapse, causing injury. Avoid breathing excessive toner or the developer. Protect your eyes. If the toner or the developer is accidentally swallowed, drink plenty of water to dilute stomach and get medical attention immediately. Always remove the plug from the power outlet before starting the disassembly of the machine. Always follow the maintenance procedures described in the service manual and other related brochures. Under no circumstances attempt to divert or disable safety features including safety mechanisms and protection circuits. Always use the thermostat or thermal fuse specified in the service manual or another related brochure to replace them. The use of a piece of wire, for example, could cause a fire or other serious accident.
