Canon iR1600 Service Manual - Now it's easy for you to take advantage of the advantages of a compact and highly economical digital system. The modular design of the iR1600 ensures your flexibility and the perfect adaptation to the respective task - right up to the network printing. In addition, Canon offers you a number of interesting solutions for the optimal document management workflow. In short, you make the right decision for the future. The iR1600 digital system offers a resolution of 1,200 x 600 dpi for the perfect reproduction of text and image. With the printer option, the Canon AIR technology delivers even better results: the resolution increases to 2,400 x 600 dpi. With PostScript® or PCL-Kit, you can ensure a smooth and application-oriented printing operation with professional finishing possibilities. The clear control panel does not puzzles and keeps you up to date. With optional network printing, the proven Canon Remote User Interface provides seamless access to all print jobs and system administration. Combine with the optional hard disk (capacity: 10 gigabytes), you can increase your productivity: print jobs can be conveniently stored from the workplace or managed within the queue.
With the innovative and compact finishing options, you have everything you need: the integrated finisher sorts and staples in one pass. The internal output tray copies and prints separately. The automatic document feeder takes away the annoying change of origin. The paper capacity can be increased from 350 to a maximum of 1,100 sheets with up to three additional paper cassettes. With the remote user interface, RUI and Canon NetSpot you have your print management under control. From the desk, you can always have an overview of system status, consumables, and counting points. With the RUI Jobmanager, you manage current print jobs or the print system stored on the optional hard disk. This saves you time and money. If you want to copy your original, you can place it in the feeder (ADF J1, additional equipment) or directly on the document glass. The indentation is useful when copying multi-page documents, the original glass for copying individual pages or books. You can manually enter a zoom / magnification scale in the zoom range of 50% to 200%. Alternatively, the system can automatically select a zoom factor to match the size of your copy paper. The system automatically determines the optimum settings for the image quality, including the exposure setting, for your original. You can also manually enter your own values. When the finisher L1 or the auxiliary output tray is connected, you have various options for sorting your copies. The deletion functions allow you to delete unwanted shadows, margins, or staple shadows on the copy. When copying books, it is also possible to hide a possible shadow on the middle seam between the book pages. If you want to copy a book, place it on the document glass.
